Is it true that there is a special supplication (du'a) dating back to the time of Prophet Solomon (peace be upon him), through which the jinn in his era pledged not to harm anyone who recites it, and Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) permitted us to say it, but did not reveal its meaning?

The well-known supplication for repelling Jinn: "O assembly of Jinn, I implore you by the covenant that Sulaiman ibn Dawud took from you, that you do not appear to us nor harm us," is a weak and unsound supplication. It is superseded by the authentic remembrances established in sound hadiths, such as:

1. "I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He created" when stopping at any place.

2. "In the name of Allah, with whose Name nothing on earth or in the heavens can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing" three times in the morning and evening.

3. Reciting Surah Al-Ikhlas and the two Mu'awwidhat (Surah Al-Falaq and Surah An-Nas) three times in the morning and evening.

4. Reciting Ayatul Kursi before sleeping.

One must rely on Allah when reciting these remembrances.
