Is it permissible to pass in front of worshippers who are not standing in the first row and do not leave space for passing, knowing that the passing will be beside them and then towards the first row?

1 min readAlso available in العربية

If worshippers are praying behind the first row, they should be advised to straighten the rows, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Straighten your rows, align your shoulders, fill the gaps, be gentle with the hands of your brethren, and do not leave openings for Satan. Whoever joins a row, Allah joins him; and whoever cuts a row, Allah cuts him off." There is no sin on someone who passes in front of them at a non-close distance, and the prayer is not invalidated by a person passing in front of the worshipper.
