Does the cursing of angels upon a woman whose husband goes to bed angry with her also apply to a man whose wife goes to bed upset with him, and what is the ruling of religion on the aforementioned husband's actions?

A husband must treat his wife with kindness (ma'ruf), and if he deviates from this, he is sinful and disobedient. As for the warning from the angels against abandoning the marital bed, this warning is established for a wife who abandons her husband's bed when he calls her, because the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "If a man calls his wife to his bed and she refuses to come, the angels curse her until morning," is specific to a wife's refusal, without a valid reason, to come to her husband's bed when he requests it. However, if a husband abandons his wife in bed without a legitimate Sharia reason, he has mistreated her and disobeyed Allah's command. He is sinful and exposed to Allah's wrath and retribution, because Allah the Almighty permitted him to abandon her in bed if his wife rebels (nushuz), but He forbade him from oppressing or transgressing against her if she obeys him. He warned him if he does not comply with His command. Allah the Almighty says: "Then if they obey you, do not seek against them any way [of harm]. Indeed, Allah is ever Exalted and Grand."
