What are the rights of a mother over her children after they reach maturity, and what are the rights of the eldest son, then the middle, then the youngest?

We have previously discussed the rights of parents. As for the rights of children upon their parents, these include raising them, teaching them matters of their religion, and protecting them from the Fire, as Allah Almighty says: (O you who have believed, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is people and stones). Other rights include naming them with good names, treating them kindly, being just between them in giving, and being good to their children and wives. In summary, love, affection, mercy, communication, respect for elders, kindness to the young, and giving every rightful person their due should prevail in the Muslim family.
