What is the ruling on chatting with young men on messenger applications in the Maliki madhhab?

A Muslim woman is not permitted to exchange conversations with foreign young men without necessity, whether directly or through communication channels, due to the corruption and evil this may lead to. Maliki scholars have stipulated the impermissibility of greeting a foreign young woman or returning her greeting, and the unlawfulness of deriving pleasure from her speech. Therefore, a Muslim woman must close the door to conversations with foreign men to safeguard her religion and dignity, as communication channels should be used for beneficial purposes.
