Is a supplication for death answered against people who are not wrongdoers, and does the supplication return upon its invoker, and what should one do who regrets that, so that God may forgive him?

The wronged person is permitted to supplicate against their oppressor to the extent of the injustice inflicted upon them, as supported by the verse: "Allah does not like the public utterance of evil, except by one who has been wronged." Nevertheless, pardon and forgiveness are better, as stated by Allah Almighty: "But if one is patient and forgives, indeed that is of the matters [requiring] determination." However, to supplicate against the oppressor with more than what they deserve is an injustice itself, which is impermissible and necessitates seeking forgiveness and repentance.
