What should be done and which Surahs from the Holy Quran should be recited, and is there a Sheikh whom you advise visiting, to confront the recurring failure to complete engagements after many proposals, especially since it was previously revealed to one of the Sheikhs that there was magic involved?

Magic can be undone with the Qur’an and prophetic supplications. It is not permissible to undo it with similar magic, as that is from the work of Satan. Among the ways to undo magic is to recite specific verses from the Qur’an over water, which is then poured over the head of the bewitched person, or to recite Ayat al-Kursy and the Mu’awwidhat (Surahs al-Falaq and an-Nas) over water mixed with sidr (lote tree leaves), which is then drunk and used for bathing. The bewitched person must adhere to righteousness and acts of obedience, maintain remembrance of Allah (dhikr), have a good opinion of Allah, and supplicate, so that what afflicts him may be removed, by Allah’s permission.
