All the mentioned terms indicate the removal of semen from clothing. Washing with water, and the remaining terms such as (rubbing, scraping, and scrubbing off) indicate its removal without water. If a person performs ghusl and semen is discharged after the ghusl, then if the ghusl was for a reason other than janabah, or for a janabah that has no connection to the discharged semen, ghusl becomes obligatory upon him. However, if what was discharged is connected to the cause of his ghusl, such as someone who had intercourse but did not ejaculate, then ejaculated after ghusl, or some semen was discharged during intercourse and the rest after ghusl, then only wudu' is obligatory upon him and not ghusl. The discharge of semen without desire does not necessitate ghusl according to the majority of scholars.
