If angels have dimensions, why do they descend on a day that spans a thousand years?

Angels are luminous bodies created from light, and they are not spirits without bodies. They sometimes appear in human form. They descend by Allah's command and ascend to Him in moments. This is from the knowledge of the unseen, which must be believed in. There is no contradiction between their being bodies and the speed of their descent and ascent.
