Are the husband's actions towards his wife, giving priority to his family over her, despite her need, and his saying: "My family is more important than you; our Messenger, may God's prayers and peace be upon him, did not say anything about you, but he said things about them," and "I am a servant and I will do what they want," Islamically sound?

The husband must provide for his wife and children equitably, which includes food, housing (and its necessary furnishings), and clothing, according to the couple's circumstances. If the wife is ill or unable to perform services, the husband must provide for her service. If the husband fulfills his financial obligations, he is free to dispose of his money as he wishes, and the wife has no right to object. If the husband is unable to combine providing for his wife and children with providing for his parents and siblings, then providing for his wife and children takes precedence. Islamic law enjoins kindness towards the wife and warns against oppressing her.
