The mercy of Allah is vast, and the servant must have good expectations of his Lord, rely on Him, and continuously seek refuge in Him. For Allah extends His hand to those who repent and never turns away a seeker. The servant must adopt the means of guidance and strive to remain steadfast in truth, for whoever strives, Allah guides them to His paths, as He Almighty said: "And those who strive for Us – We will surely guide them to Our ways. And indeed, Allah is with the doers of good." And increase the remembrance of Allah to repel Satan, and associate with righteous women and sit with scholars. Whenever a servant supplicates to his Lord with a prayer that fulfills its conditions, Allah answers him, as He Almighty said: "And when My servants ask you, [O Muhammad], concerning Me - indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me [by obedience] and believe in Me that they may be [rightly] guided."
