Is the rule "for the male, a share equal to that of two females" specific to inheritance and gifts, or does it apply in all cases, including the distribution of shares in a company where two siblings contribute equally to the capital?

The verse: (To the male, a portion equal to that of two females) is a ruling specific to inheritance. Some scholars have appended to it the father's gift to his children. As for the distribution of company profits between a brother and his sister, this is not included in that. Rather, the distribution of profits is according to the agreement of the contracting parties or in proportion to their capital contributions, and losses are borne in proportion to their capital contributions.
