There is no authentic or weak hadith proving that reciting "Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad" (Say: He is Allah, the One) seventy thousand times, or "Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim" (In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful) one hundred thousand times over the deceased within three days of their death will free them from hellfire. What has been narrated from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, regarding "Whoever recites Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad a thousand times has bought himself from Allah" is a fabricated hadith.
