Is what was narrated concerning Surat Taha—that whoever carries it with him and goes to people intending to marry from them will be given their consent, and that if he intends to reconcile those who harbor hatred for each other, they will be reconciled—sound? And is what was narrated concerning Surat Al-Ahzab—that whoever writes it on gazelle parchment and places it in a box in his house, his daughters will quickly get married—sound? And has it been narrated that reciting Surat Al-Inshirah a certain number of times and in a specific manner fulfills some requests, such as marriage and facilitating provision?

The Holy Quran is a healing, a mercy, and a blessing. Reciting it and supplicating with it brings goodness, and it is hoped that it will rectify one's state and lead to the acceptance of prayers. Praying upon the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, is a reason for the acceptance of prayers. It is sunnah (definition) to begin by glorifying Allah and praising Him, then praying upon the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, before supplicating. Thus, reading the Quran and praying upon the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, are among the reasons for fulfilling needs and accepting prayers. However, the method mentioned in the question (writing the Quran and prayers upon the Prophet on gazelle skin) has no basis in the Sunnah. It might be related to charlatanism and sorcery, and the skin might be impure. As for writing the Quran and dhikr and hanging them, there is a difference of opinion among scholars regarding it.
