The answer

Passing in front of a praying person is originally forbidden, and the one who does so incurs sin. However, it is permissible in al-Masjid al- and Mecca when there is crowding and difficulty, because it is a place prone to crowding, and it is difficult to guard against it there. Also, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed in Mecca while people were passing in front of him. This ruling extends to the Prophet's Mosque and other mosques during severe crowding and difficulty in guarding against it.
