Was my action correct in stopping the sound of the Adhan and covering the screen out of respect for it while I was alone with my Christian wife, or should I have continued with the seclusion?

We have clarified in previous fatwas that sexual intercourse during the Adhan is permissible, whether the wife is Muslim or from the People of the Book. If intercourse is permissible upon hearing the Adhan from the muezzin, then it is even more so permissible when heard from a mobile phone or computer. Consequently, there is no need to turn off the device from which the Adhan sound emanates, and if it is turned off, there is no harm; the matter is easy.
