There is no harm in using prayer times applications on phones, which alert to the entry of prayer time with the call to prayer (adhan). Nor should it be prevented on the pretext that its carrier is in crowded places; rather, it may serve as an alert for people. The user of the application must silence the sound before prayer, the sermon, and entering the lavatory.
