What is the ruling on wearing a garment that retains some traces of madhiy or maniy after it has been washed?

Semen is pure, so its removal from clothing is not obligatory. As for pre-seminal fluid (madhy), it is a light impurity, and some jurists deem sprinkling water over it (nadh) sufficient. This involves pouring water over it, but it does not remove the impurity. However, the majority of scholars have interpreted "nadh" in the hadiths as washing. Washing it from the body and clothing is more cautious, absolves one's responsibility, and is more thorough in purification.
