The answer

If a girl wears a in a place where non- men can see her, she has committed a wrong, and she must repent and not return to such an act. Among the worldly punishments for displaying oneself (tabarruj) is exposure to harm from people of ill intent, as Allah Almighty says: "O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to bring down over themselves [part] of their outer garments. That is more suitable that they should be known and not be abused." [Al-Ahzab: 59]. As for the punishments in the afterlife, they include the threat of Hellfire and not entering Paradise, for the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "There are two types of people among the inhabitants of Hell whom I have not seen: people with whips like the tails of cattle, with which they beat people, and women who are clothed yet naked, inclining [to evil] and inclining [others] to it. Their heads are like the humps of camels, inclined. They will not enter Paradise, nor will they smell its fragrance, though its fragrance can be smelled from such and such a distance." Among them also is disgrace and humiliation on the Day of Resurrection.
