How authentic is the Hadith: "If you hear the call [to prayer] while one of you has a vessel in his hand, he should not put it down until he has fulfilled his need from it"?

The wording of the Hadith is: "If one of you hears the call [to prayer] and the vessel is in his hand, let him not put it down until he has fulfilled his need from it." Narrated by Abu Dawud from Abu Hurairah, and it is authentic. The Hadith means that the fasting person may drink from it sufficiently, as long as the dawn has not broken or he does not think it is close to breaking.
