The answer

There is no objection to a husband working for a Jew on land and in a house that the Jew genuinely owns, as long as it does not involve humiliation for the Muslim or assistance in sin. However, if the land is usurped, or if the construction involves assisting him in sin or enabling injustice, then it is not permissible to assist him, for Allah Almighty says: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression."
