Is the condition, "that there is no other place to study, even in another country," for mixed-gender study, intended for a specific major or for university study in general?

The prohibition of mixing (between genders) and the clarification of its harms have been previously established, and that it is obligatory to avoid studying in mixed environments. However, due to widespread affliction, it is permissible under certain conditions: first, striving to find a non-mixed place; second, adhering to Islamic rulings such as hijab (veil), lowering the gaze, and not expanding in speech; and third, leaving the place if one feels they are slipping into what is forbidden. This permission is based on the principle: "What is forbidden as a preventative measure (sadd al-dhari'a) becomes permissible out of necessity and for an overriding benefit." Therefore, if no other place is available for studying the required specialization, there is no harm, provided one adheres to the Islamic guidelines and keeps in mind the benefit of the Muslim community.
