Is it obligatory to pick up a paper lying on the ground that has "the Noble Qur'an" written on it?

The Holy Qur'an is a name and a proper noun for the Word of Allah revealed to Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him. Every sheet containing Qur'anic verses must be respected, and it is not permissible to leave it cast upon the ground, as that contradicts the glorification of Allah's sanctities and rituals.
