If congregational prayer is obligatory, must one praying alone at home wait for the Imam to finish the prayer in the mosque (Dhuhr or Maghrib), and does this take the ruling of waiting for the Imam for Jumu'ah prayer?

"The excused, such as travelers, the sick, and those for whom Jummah (Friday prayer) is not obligatory, like women, are not required to wait for the Imam to finish his prayer. Rather, they can pray as soon as the time for prayer begins. It is recommended for those who hope for their excuse to cease to wait until the Jummah prayer is performed.

As for those for whom congregational prayer is not obligatory, they may pray as soon as the time for prayer begins, and there is no one who advocates for them to wait until the congregational prayer is performed.

However, for those for whom congregational prayer is obligatory, they may pray it anywhere, and their obligation is discharged; it is not a condition for it to be performed in a mosque. The prayer of one for whom congregational prayer is obligatory and who prays individually is valid, even if they pray before the Imam, because congregational prayer is not a condition for the validity of the prayer."
