Is the salary earned from a job where the employee does not adhere to attendance and departure times, and his colleagues cover for him, knowing that he suffers from schizophrenia and fears persecution from his superiors if he performs his work diligently, considered unlawful money?

It is not permissible to receive a salary for work not completed or for a period during which one was not present, unless authorized by the empowered person at the workplace, because the employee is obligated to fulfill the employment contract. Schizophrenia or coverage by colleagues does not justify absence and failure to fulfill the contract, for a private employee must adhere to the terms of the contract, as Allah the Almighty says: "O you who have believed, fulfill [all] contracts." The fact that the workplace will inspect the employee if he attends does not change the ruling.
