What is Kabbalah, is it related to magic, is there a connection between it and Islam, and is it permissible for a Muslim to practice it?

Kabbalah is a Jewish mystical movement based on the distortion of the Torah and the claim of esoteric meanings for it. It relies on magic, sorcery, and the unity of existence, and it claims the possibility of controlling divine will and the world. This belief is considered disbelief (kufr) by the consensus of the Ummah (Muslim community) because it invalidates the doctrine of Tawhid (monotheism). Dr. Abdel Wahab El-Messiri indicates that Kabbalah revolves within a pantheistic Gnostic framework, seeking illuminative knowledge with the aim of influencing God and controlling reality, and it is associated with magic and Gematria (the numerical value of Hebrew letters). Kabbalah is a disbelief-laden doctrine, contrary to the monotheism of God brought by all the prophets. Whoever follows it disbelieves in what the Prophet (peace be upon him) brought and exposes themselves to loss.
