However, it is permissible if the intention is to attain a legitimate right when all other avenues are blocked, and the sin then falls upon whoever compelled the act. An oath is based on the intention of the one swearing it, unless it is administered by a judge or the rights-holder, in which case it is based on the intention of the one administering it. Accordingly, there is no blame upon the two witnesses for testifying on your behalf and swearing an oath to it, intending by their oath regarding the incorrect registration of your name that the name is for a woman and it is wrong for a man to be called by it.
