Is it permissible to marry a woman who has embraced Islam and wishes to live in Muslim lands, but it was discovered that she has a rare bacterium in her uterus that might prevent her from conceiving, and is it permissible to supplicate for her healing from diseases that might appear in the future?

We praise Allah for guiding the girl to Islam and ask Him to keep her steadfast and grant her healing. There is no harm in supplicating for her recovery; in fact, we recommend frequent supplication and having a good opinion of Allah, for Allah has not sent down a disease except that He has also sent down a cure for it. If her recovery becomes possible, we urge you to marry her to help her with her religion. If recovery is not possible and it is highly likely that she will not be able to bear children, then it is preferable to seek someone else, because procreation is one of the most important objectives of marriage. Perhaps she will find someone who will marry her because he needs to marry for other considerations besides procreation, and there is no harm in helping her search for a husband while observing the Shariah guidelines.
