What is the ruling on using psychotropic medications to face combat in jihad in the way of Allah?

Taking medication is originally permissible unless it contains impurities or causes harm. If it is permissible to take it in normal circumstances, then it is even more so in times of fear and hardship. This is further emphasized in jihad and similar situations that require steadfastness and courage.
