Is it obligatory to make up for the day on which menstruation began for the first time during Ramadan due to ignorance? And is it permissible for a woman who becomes pure from menstruation on the seventh day to perform ghusl after the 'Isha prayer and make up for the missed prayers on the following day?

The questioner must make up for the day on which her menstruation began, if it started during daylight hours in Ramadan (definition). As for delaying the ritual bath (ghusl (definition)) after purification and after the time for prayer has begun, this is not permissible. Rather, one must hasten to perform the ghusl to offer the prayer within its prescribed time, in order to avoid the warning mentioned in the Almighty’s saying: "So woe to those who pray, [But] who are heedless of their prayer."
