The answer

If a woman sees the sign of purity after menstruation, she must perform ghusl (ritual bath). Delaying ghusl after seeing the sign of purity is not permissible. She must make up the prayers she missed during that period because they are a debt upon her, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The debt owed to Allah is more deserving of being fulfilled." This is the view of the majority of scholars, while Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah held that it is not obligatory to repeat prayers for someone who missed them due to ignorance of their obligation. The first opinion is more cautious and more absolving of responsibility, and the making up of prayers should be done according to one's ability, in a way that does not harm the body or livelihood.
