There are two signs of purification from menstruation: dryness of the place, or seeing the white discharge (al-Qassah al-Bayda'). However, if she becomes certain of her purity and the prayer time has passed, she must make up what she missed. If she doubts the time when purification occurred, she must adhere to the default, which is the persistence of menstruation, until she becomes certain of her purity.
