What is the ruling regarding the prayers I missed previously due to delaying ghusl after menstruation out of ignorance, or due to considering blood discharged after purification as menstrual blood?

A woman must perform ghusl (definition) immediately upon seeing the sign of purity (tuhur). Delaying it is an error that necessitates making up the missed prayers after purity is confirmed and before performing ghusl, according to the majority of scholars. Any yellowish or brownish discharge that a woman sees after purity is considered menstruation if it occurs during her habitual period or is continuous with the blood. Anything other than that is not menstruation. It is obligatory to make up the missed prayers according to the majority of scholars, which is the more cautious approach and clears one's conscience, provided one knows how to perform the make-up prayers.
