Does Umrah help in solving problems? Does drinking Zamzam water with the intention of acquiring knowledge lead to ease of attainment and not forgetting? Is the supplication of one who sees the Kaaba for the first time answered? What are the places where supplications are answered during Umrah? Is the effect of Zamzam water only psychological?

There is no evidence that seeing the Kaaba for the first time is a reason for prayers to be answered, although this is common among ordinary people. However, there are other reasons for the prayers of theamrah-performer to be answered: being a traveler, and a traveler's prayer is answered; the supplication of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, for the pilgrim, which also applies to the 'umrah-performer; and drinking from Zamzam water, about which the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Zamzam is for what it is drunk for."
