Will the wife be sinful for seeking divorce from her husband who does not pray in congregation at the mosque, nor fasts, nor recites the Quran, nor performs Umrah, nor remembers Allah, and takes his daughter's money, and prays sitting down, nodding his head for bowing and prostration?

1. A husband's negligence in prayer, such as abandoning the standing position despite being able to perform it, or abandoning congregational prayer without a legitimate excuse, is considered فسق (transgression) that permits seeking divorce.

2. Umrah is a confirmed Sunnah or obligatory act, according to a difference of opinion among scholars.

3. Regarding diabetics and fasting: Refer to the detailed fatwa number 34763 to understand who is permitted to break their fast and who is obligated to fast.

4. It is not permissible for a father to take anything from his son's money except with his consent and within the legitimate Islamic guidelines.

5. Reciting from the Mushaf, seeking forgiveness (Istighfar), and glorifying Allah (Tasbeeh) are supererogatory acts of worship. Abandoning them does not incur sin or punishment, but the one who abandons them misses out on much good.
