What are the best acts to perform during Qiyam al-Layl, and what is their order from best to better, for a Muslim to perform them an hour and a half before dawn?

It is best for a Muslim to follow the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, in his nocturnal prayers (Tahajjud). If there is time remaining before Fajr after the prayer, it is best to engage in seeking forgiveness (Istighfar) and supplication (Du'a), based on the Almighty's saying: "And in the pre-dawn hours, they would seek forgiveness," and the Hadith: "Our Lord, the Blessed and Exalted, descends every night to the lowest heaven when only the last third of the night remains, saying: 'Who is there to supplicate Me so that I may answer him? Who is there to ask of Me so that I may give him? Who is there to seek My forgiveness so that I may forgive him?'" Abdullah ibn 'Umar used to supplicate and seek forgiveness until morning, and the Companions were commanded to seek forgiveness seventy times at the end of the pre-dawn hour.
