The answer

The Druze are an infidel, esoteric sect. It is impermissible to eat their slaughtered animals, nor anything cooked with them in the same pot, because it is considered impure due to contamination by the impure carrion. This is based on the Almighty's saying: "Say, 'I find not in that which has been revealed to me anything forbidden to one who eats it, unless it be carrion, or spilled blood, or the flesh of swine — for that is indeed defilement — or of an offering consecrated to other than Allah.' But whoever is compelled, without desiring or exceeding, then indeed your Lord is Forgiving, Merciful." And whatever is mixed with something impure or cooked with it cannot be purified because of its absorption of the impurity and the impurity's permeation into it.
