What is the ruling on praying the Fajr prayer in congregation, what are the means of encouraging people to do so, and how can one help those who find it difficult to wake up for it due to overwhelming sleep?

The obligation to perform congregational prayer in the mosque for those who have no valid excuse has been previously answered. To convince people of this, one can emphasize the status and importance of prayer in Islam, and remind them of the hadiths that encourage attending congregational prayers, such as: "The prayer of the congregation is twenty-five degrees more excellent than the prayer of one of you in his house or in his market," and "Whoever prays the two cool prayers (Fajr and Asr) will enter Paradise," and "Whoever prays Fajr in congregation, it is as if he prayed the entire night."

Conversely, one must warn against failing to attend them, as this is a characteristic of the hypocrites, as the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "(There is no prayer heavier upon the hypocrites than Fajr and Isha. And if they knew what was in them, they would come to them even if crawling...)"

Among the means that aid in performing Fajr prayer in the mosque are: sleeping early, using an alarm clock, and seeking assistance from family members to be woken up.
