What is the ruling on working as a graphic designer for a company (beauty salons, training centers, and a restaurant) that requires placing and publishing pictures of makeup models and hairstyles for advertising? And does the ruling differ if another person places the pictures while my work is limited to design only, or if I commission another designer to do the work?

If the aforementioned pictures contain images of women, it is not permissible to display them or to cooperate in doing so in any way, based on the Almighty's saying: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression." However, if the pictures are of parts of a woman's face or hair, some scholars permit this, but it is more cautious to avoid it.
