What is the ruling on using chairs designed in the shape of animals for decoration?

Making chairs in the shape of an animal is considered unlawful imaging (taswir), because three-dimensional images, whether of humans or animals, are unanimously agreed upon by scholars to be forbidden. There is no difference in ruling between those made for adornment and those made for other purposes.
