Does the infrequent connection of kinship ties, with no compelling reasons for such infrequency and the parties not being accustomed to communication, eternally forbid entry into Paradise, based on the Prophet’s — may Allah bless him and grant him peace — saying: "A severer of kinship ties will not enter Paradise"?

The aforementioned hadith (definition), "No severer of ties of kinship will enter Paradise," is authentic. Maintaining kinship ties is not limited to direct visits; it also includes correspondence, phone calls, social media, giving gifts, and charity. So, if any of these occur, you are not considered severers of kinship ties.
