Where did the Jews err, just as the Christians erred?

The Jews are greater in disbelief and misguidance than the Christians. They claim that Ezra is the son of God, attribute imperfections to God, killed the prophets, distorted the Torah, and deserved God's curse due to their disobedience and aggression. They fabricated lies against their prophets, attributing to them apostasy, drinking alcohol, fornication, and theft. God and His Messenger cursed them in the Qur’an and Sunnah for their disbelief, breaking the covenant, and distorting the word. Ibn al-Qayyim described them as people of lies, slander, treachery, cunning, and deception; killers of prophets; the most malicious of nations in intent; the furthest from mercy; their emblem is wrath and their cloak is hatred.
