Is it permissible to continue a friendship with someone while having feelings for them, knowing that this helps one draw closer to Allah? And is it possible to ask to be transformed into a woman in Paradise to marry this friend?

It is recommended to abandon the companion towards whom one feels inclinations, in order to close the door to temptation. Instead, one should associate with people of faith and good character, seeking Allah's help and relying on Him, asking Him to avert indecencies and misleading trials. Paradise is the abode of eternal bliss. One should avoid the whispers of Satan and the thoughts of the soul that incites evil, for the root of all corruption stems from these thoughts. It is also advised to consult a psychiatrist to get rid of unhealthy feelings and thoughts, and to frequently engage in the remembrance of Allah and supplicate to Him.
