What is the ruling on not staying with a person in the same department, from both an administrative and practical standpoint, given that tasks are shared?

Swearing by divorce to do or not do something is considered a conditional divorce by the majority of jurists, and it takes effect upon the fulfillment of the condition it was tied to. This is the fatwa. If the oath was by triple divorce, the majority considers it three divorces, and the wife becomes irrevocably divorced (baynunah kubra). Intention is considered in an oath, and its determination is up to you. If you do not do what you swore to refrain from, you do not break your oath. If you do, you break your oath and your wife becomes divorced from you. It is advised to be pious and avoid swearing by divorce as much as possible. Anger does not prevent the occurrence of divorce unless the person is unaware of what he is uttering.
