Is it permissible to design wall hangings, or cups, or hats, that have drawings on them, which may be imaginary cartoonish, or real, or cartoonish drawings of living beings, and to design them using phone or computer programs?

There is no harm in hanging pictures of things that do not possess a soul on walls, such as trees and rivers. However, as for pictures of animate beings, it is not permissible to draw or design them if they are complete in their limbs. It is permissible if they are incomplete or dismembered.
