Is it permissible to draw on paper cartoon anime characters with imaginary features, such as a nose and mouth that are merely lines?

It is not permissible to draw a complete image of a living being on paper, except for children's stories for the purpose of their education and entertainment. As for incomplete images from which life-sustaining elements have been removed, or images with unclear features, these have been permitted by the majority of jurists.
