Can a vision be fulfilled through a mistaken interpretation?

A vision that has not been interpreted is like a bird on a man's head; once interpreted, it comes to pass. However, its occurrence is not absolute but conditioned upon the interpreter being knowledgeable, correct, and Divinely guided in their interpretation. An ignorant interpreter who errs in interpreting it does not cause it to come true, because a vision is only true if the interpreter is correct in its interpretation. Not all visions are meant to be interpreted, as most are mere jumbled dreams, and some are due to natural predispositions, self-talk, or from Satan. The only true vision is that which is brought by the angel from the "Mother of the Book" (Umm al-Kitab).
