What is the ruling on a wife objecting to her husband's parents living with him in the house, especially since they treat her well?

The marital life should be based on good companionship between the spouses, with each honoring the family of the other, especially the parents. This is because kinship by marriage is among the blessings Allah has bestowed upon His servants, and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, enjoined good treatment of those with whom one is bound by marriage. Part of good companionship is for each spouse to host the other's family according to custom. It is not the wife's right to object to her husband hosting his parents, and her right is a dwelling that provides her with privacy. Both spouses should be wise to avoid problems due to parental visits.
