Is someone who dies in a car accident on his way to buy cigarettes considered among the people of Paradise, on the grounds that he was supporting his mother, and that cigarettes are not forbidden?

It is part of the creed of Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama'ah not to bear witness for any specific individual concerning Paradise or Hell, except for those about whom the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, bore witness. They hope for those who do good and fear for those who do evil. One should not be preoccupied with the fate of the deceased; rather, one should ask Allah to forgive them and grant them intercession. Whoever dies upon disobedience short of shirk (polytheism) will not abide eternally in Hell, should they enter it, for a disobedient monotheist will not abide eternally therein. Cigarettes are forbidden, and the large number of people who smoke them does not negate their prohibition, for multitude is not a measure of truth and has been condemned in the Quran.
