How sound is the Hadith: "Indeed, Allah does not look at the crooked row"?

This hadith is well-known but has no sound or weak origin, and it was not transmitted in the books of Sunnah. A number of scholars, including Ibn Baz, Al-Uthaymeen, and Sheikh Mashhoor Hasan, have indicated that it has no origin. Other authentic hadiths regarding the straightening of rows suffice in its place.
